Description: Rowan was an older member of Deep Woods and had a brief relationship with Snow-white of Dark Stones with her grieving the loss of her sister. However they soon both recognized that neither wolf's heart was truly in the relationship, so they broke it off, but not before Snow-white became pregnant with his pups. She later ended up visiting him on the Deep Woods-Dark Stones border one last time to tell him of this, but both came to the agreement that he wouldn't partake in the rearing of the pups (something not unusual for wolves). Snow-white had their pups and raised them alone in Dark Stones. Both Red Spirit and Ktea are aware of Rowan being their father, however neither felt particularly strong about him with him having been absent pretty much their entire lives. Rowan died as an Elder shortly before book one begins.
Physical description: Rowan is an elderly grayish-tan wolf with a lazy eye, a dark face and dark paws. He has a scar across his face and a white chest. His right eye has strabismus and points inward and upwards. His right eye has strabismus and points inward and upwards.
