Yes, very trippy, I see the symbolism as well! it's very hard to draw my eye away from the sun in the center of the image, it's such a strong focal point. Those dry branches are the most interesting thing to me...

ARGH! LOOK OUT! The statue of Liberty is flailing her torch around again! AAACCCKKKK!!!
Yeah, so, this is a very trippy looking piece, and the symbolism you represent here is shown well. Very chaotic and jagged, almost agonizing and harsh. A nation divided and all that. Yet the focal point draws the eye, almost bringing all the chaos together, as the eye isn't allowed to move away from it very easily. It's always drawn back to it. Cool.
