After becoming with friends with Twilight Sparkle once again, Moondancer moved into Twilight’s old observatory home, which gave her much more room for her books and studies.

Like Twilight, Moondancer is born into a rather powerful unicorn family who are close to the royal family. While Moondancer is indeed powerful, she has yet to meet Twilight’s level of magic. Moondancer specializes in illusion magic, but studies every type of magic known to pony-kind.

Once Twilight started the School of Friendship, Moondancer helped quite a bit suggesting and sending books for their library and curriculum. The school continued to thrive for a few years before Twilight Sparkle invited Moondancer to become the School of Friendship’s official librarian. Moondancer accepted and stays in the Ponyville Castle during the week and spends her weekends in her Canterlot home.

Moondancer became rather good friends with Rockhoof by transcribing his many stories and helps turn them into history books. The two work together regularly and Moondancer is absolutely fascinated by his tales and adventures.

After entering a relationship with Sunburst, Moondancer became good friends with Princess Cadence and her family. Once Flurry Heart grew old enough to learn how to control her magic, it took both Moondancer and Sunburst to tutor her and hone her skills.
