I read the comments while the full view was loading. (Oh the joys of dial-up...) I quite agree, the distance between the base of the ladder and the tree needs to be cut in half for the ladder to stand at the correct angle. Then it struck me that this poor fairy must be handicapped or just plain lazy. She has wings after all, why else would she need a ladder?
Hopefully, by now, you've learned the hard way, (as have all photo-manip artists) to save your image in all of its wonderous layers and save a copy as JEPG to upload to DA. If this is the case, you can fiddle with the ladder's angle OR delete the ladder altogether! you'll still have an awesome image either way!
Heck! You'll still have a great image if you don't mess with it!

Thanks so much. I actually do have the layered version. I actually keep about half a dozen versions of each one that I do, just in case I can't get back to a certain point. I always save before flattening. I may have to go in and edit out the ladder. I just kind of thought that was cheating in a way since I had already loaded it with the ladder. I kind of thought the wing thing too but then I thought what the heck. LOL By the way I know the joys of dial up and appreciate your waiting for the full view as well as your comment and support. Thanks.

It's toucht all my sense. This scene remind me on my story "Beyond the Rainbow" [link] " , that I write right now. My son Rok [link] makes translation and illustrations. Whenever you have some free time, you can read the synopsys of this story and tell me your opinion if you want.

Wow that sounds like it is going to be a wonderful story. Sounds a bit true to life I think which always makes for a good story. You son is doing a wonderful job in translating and illustrating it. Your website is wonderful too. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Gina, what a lovely picture! The relation of the fairy with the bird...so sweet! The ladder though seems to be a little off to me, and the frame catches a bit too much attention. I wish this was my new house, Nancy in her Tree!

Thank you. The ladder seems to be the concensus. They are a bit off indeed. Thanks for keeping me on my toes. This would be a good Nancy tree.

is very beautiful and very well done!. These are my critics to your dev, but it doesnΒ΄t mean i think is wrong
because i see it very beautiful. i think the stairs need more volume, some shadows and lights. i love the fae
, i think is on the good position and it seems like looking to the bird (and the bird to the butterfly), great! nice composition.
you know, the thing i donΒ΄t like is the frame you put. too much bigger and recharged to this image. it is like if the frame was competing with the image.
i love this kind of devs!!.

Lovely, as usual. The little details are very eye-catching and they compliment each other to bring the piece together. The only thing that bugs me is the angle of the ladder. Oh and I meant to ask you, do you offer prints?

Thank you so much for your comments. Yes I think the ladder is a bit off, and I am always glad for advice. As to the prints, though I have a print account I haven't yet figured out the print system. I hope to figure it out eventually. LOL

Sweet. I don't usually like fairy related deviations, but this is a very beautiful composition.

Thank you I am glad that you liked it. Most of my deviations are fairy related. People seem to like them. I am glad that you liked this one despite not usually liking fairies.
