Honestly, I believe Mr.Mime became a lot more popular with detective pikachu (And if you haven't seen the movie, lemme tell you the scene with Mr.mime is golden)

But when I made my list of least popular pokemon per type, M.Mime was part of the least appreciated Fairy types out there. And I gotta admit the movie did a good job making this pokemon more likable.

And so with all the mney he stole from the box office, Mr.Mime bought himself a fancy chair, and some fancy drink he drink with a straw. (Or you can say Mr.mime has bourbon in his drink and is smoking a big ol' cigar, i'm not sure what they're miming myself)
