Description
This tanker design was the first of several attempts by “Galen Lines” shipyards to provide a means of transport for fuel, propellants and potable water between planets.
it had several flaws, most notably the structure was too weak and unstable to support the massive cylindrical tank, also, when tested the liquids inside stagnated and the water became undrinkable.
Galen was in a bind, he had to deliver this vessel, the success of future missions between Terra and Earth depended on the fleets having a sustainable source of potable water, so this design was scrapped and the design team were forced back to the drawing boards,
