Description I bought a white cardboard and drew/colored it to be set as what my dark souls card game would be played like. It is similar to duels in Pokemon Trading card matches as there's a "bench" and "active" slot. The estus slot will contain 3 estus cards which are for both players at all time and each player can use their estus card to heal one of their characters at anytime unless the opponent has a card activated that prevents opponent from healing. Humanity slot is where you place humanity & twin humanity cards which regular humanities negate any incoming damage by 10 while twin humanities negate any incoming damage by 20. To make this not overpowered a rule is that a player can only have 5 humanities and 5 twin humanities in total in their humanity slot. The player may i have up to 10 of both humanity and twin humanities within their 60 card deck. If a player were to place 5 humanities and 5 twin humanities in total in their humanity slot then the total damage negation would be 150 so if your active were to be attacked by your opponent dealing 170 damage, no matter if its magic damage, physical damage, or any type of damage, it would instead do only 20 damage. Armor slot is to place 1 armory. Ring slot is to place one ring. And shield slot is to place 1 shield. Next to your active slot is "left arm" slot and "right arm" slot. Left arm slot is where you would place cards such as catalysts, talismans, and pyromancy hands while the right slot would be for weapons. You can only attach one catalyst/weapon at a time so if a player were to have 3 different talismans and 4 different weapons in their hand they can only attack 1 talisman and 1 weapon to their active. Once attached the player may attach 1 spell at a time to their talisman/catalyst and one upgrade/infusion at a time to their weapon. If a player were using dark sorcery magic which attaching humanities to your catalyst or weapon would boost, then only one humanity/twin humanity per turn can be attached. Each time it is your turn you can place 1 character(or as i named, Beta) to your bench. "Alpha" characters are the evolved form of a beta but may have other requirements in order to evolve, but the same thing applies where if you evolve a character then you cant evolve or place another character until your next turn. When an active character dies, everything in it's left arm, right arm, shield, armor, humanity, ring slots are all discarded as all of those are specifically for the benefit of the active character. In a regular game, a player wins when they have defeated 6 of opponents characters. For each character you defeat you draw one extra card. You draw one card each time it is your turn. When starting a match a player will flip a coin, whichever side it lands on the player who called gets to decide if they go first or if opponent goes first. If you are to go first then you cannot attack for only that first turn. If a player were to run out of character/monster cards on their field and have no characters to fight with in their hand, then the player may either accept defeat or draw from their deck until they draw a character/monster card. For each card drawn in that specific time, your opponent will also draw a card.
