An unusual jail located in a remote orchard in Tabira. Captive criminals are held within these isolating spheres until the guilds can figure out what sort of punishment to give them. The powerful warping capabilities of these round cells prevents their quarry from escape, the exception being witches , which must be dealt with by the Keepers and their allies. Prisoners are only held for a brief amount of time, no longer than a few days.
While the Great Tree isn't the only tree to bear apricorn fruit, it is the only one which grows them to such a massive size. Over time, the Scholars and Artisans figured out how to craft the fruits into holding cells. Tabirans are careful not to abuse this amazing power, which is why they're treated as temporary holds. It's a common practice to have low-ranking Trackers members take care of captives, as a way of teaching humility and responsibility.
