My attempt for a JWildfire Sanctuary weekly challenge.
Starting with the original flame by Dave Mann, I made the transform 1 weight smaller, added a popcorn and hypertile transform, and moved transform 1 around a lot. Then, in paint.net I copied it to two layers. On the top layer I did an luminosity to alpha map, and on the bottom layer I applied the G'MIC-Qt "Hough Sketch" filter by David Tschumperlé.
Looking at this one, I thought of Steins gate and its opening video I adore, "hacking into the gate", and this title is a variation on one of the translations for a line in the video, "I must not allow even a dust-sized miscalculation." All those distal timelines...
