Made with JWildfire. I had to do colour rebalancing for only the middle section which was initially way too dark, which I accomplished by merging an overlay blend mode layer. The flame was pretty simple - literally just 9 dc_linear transforms, arranged like this:

Sorry.. I think XY would be way harder to do with fractals like this... >_<
I think it's kinda cute when there are little messages hidden in an image like this though. It might be a stretch, but it could be interpreted as a rainbow flag too. Makes me think of the ocean a little bit, with probably way too much algae.
