Description
Another one of my Senior thesis paintings. I love the colour contrast of this. I decided to do a triptic in a linear fluid form. So it flows from Good Friday (dark and dead) to Easter Sunday morning (brighty sunny alive).I get asked this A LOT by people that have seen this piece before: Yes, there are Christians in India and the rest of the Asian continent. Not all Indians are Hindu.

Nice work and it is true there are alot of Indians that are Christian. Alot of my Asian friends are Christian too. Plus one of my friends he's from China and he gets so sick and tired of people assuming that he's Bhuddist when he's not. He even said "How can you miss so many signs in my house that show I'm Christian. One I have a rosary hanging on the wall in my room, 2 the Holy Bible on the bookshelf, a pray quote of "Our Father 3" hanging on my wall, my parents have a picture of Jesus." After he said that my response was "Touch'e!" Love the drawing.

Yeah there is a stereotype that Christianity doesn't exsist in Asia. I find that pretty despressing since there are still places where Christians can't practice or they have to worship in undercover churches. Of course people tend to not know that either.
