Finally I made some Tahnorra! Some of you might think they're just traveling buddies, but you can think they're either a couple already or not, it's your choice. I still consider them as traveling buddies here.

I'm hoping for some desert travel in the Legend of Korra or even some jungle travel as well just like in Avatar the last airbender. I'm a huge sucker for adventurous themes and landscape travel I just love it. I'm a bit tired with the whole Republic city travels and I was a tiny bit disappointed Korra will have to travel in the Arctic poles in book 2. I actually wanted her to travel in rugged terrain like mountains and deserts.

My fanon idea would be that Korra wants to collect some more knowledge for being the avatar and the other cultures around the world. To do that she would have some help with either her friends or somebody else who isn't occupied with their jobs to travel through the desert and find the buried Wan Shi Tong's Library for the knowledge.

I still think that Mako, Asami and Bolin are too busy with their jobs to even help out Korra in probably traveling around the world, but that's my guess. I'm pretty sure by some unrealistic miracle they get free time from their jobs to travel around the world with the avatar.

Still, what about an acquaintance with no job at all and got nothing to lose? I picked Tahno as a good choice since he "was" formerly a captain of the Wolfbats and probably doesn't have a job because maybe nobody wants a former cheater of a sport. Plus he wouldn't be a minor character anymore and have some bonding time with Korra as friends, something that I'm hoping for in the series.

My inspiration for this artwork was my love for adventures and travel, Gaara and his village with it's unique desert theme OST and of course GIANT MUSHROOM AND CACTUS JUICE!!!!!!!!!!
