Let me make this as clear as day:

ha lol Now that I got that out of my system, let me explain each little doodle, starting with the "mad scientist" at the top.

-Insane-
Ha! So, uh, this all started when I drew "Why So Glum?" (something I've just submitted recently to the "Goof Troop Universe" folder), where Max, PJ and Bobby are walking around, and apparently I unknowingly drew Max in a Nny pose (JTHM). I don't think I was in a good mood that day.
Anywho, I got to thinking; Nny kills people because he can't handle their insults like a normal human being should (even if he is a wastelock xD). This is something that I'm sure we could all do if there was no such thing as morality and punishment for our actions.
Max has had to deal with an overbearing father (I love Goofy!) and bullies for the longest time. He's been able to keep a cool head all these years, but have you noticed how many times in the show (from what I've watched so far) or in the movie it seemed like he was gonna strangle someone to death??
I nearly fainted from awesome when, as a kid, he was gonna blow up in PJ's face while his back was turned away, but then came round with the calmest expression imaginable--

This was me: HO- SHIT.

I love characters on the brink of exploding rage (ie Danny Fenton!) So much fun.
Max kinda let loose during the written piece, and it does not seem that his alter ego completely disappears afterwards...

-Calm-
The relationship between the canines is not a harmonious one. Hell half the time they bicker and can be extremely competitive in just about anything!
The only times when there are no anger management classes is when Brad's high on weed, or when they actually SPEAK THEIR MIND, which as of now they have an extreme lack of.
So when Max is like this, he's nearly at peace, and it makes these moments of fluff all the more heartwarming.

-Solemn-
Just being sad about something, lol whatever.

-Annoyed / Contemplating-
Again, whatever, we're all annoyed at some point, and some of us think too much. I want to say, Brad is more straight-on action. Max, being the one with less "experience" and usually the "good kid", is quite skeptical about the situation he got himself into, but still manages to cover this up when hanging out with his best buds, and even with his dad (which apparently is hard for him to keep control over his guilt-- should we be even mentioning Sylvia now??)

I'm glad it turned out decently as an action pose. That's all I can say..
