Set after Night Journey and concurrent to A Dead Village - I'd recommend reading at least the first one to understand what's going on here! Arista wants to help their friend, they really do, but going against the Talons is terrifying. So they do the only reasonable thing, which is, of course, seeking out the most terrifying person they know for advice.No content warnings for this one, just one very anxious person trying to do the right thing.
