I imagined this two years ago when I originally drew my cover for Joe Benitez' Lady Mechanika 1 cover variant...
...started drawing it over a year ago, and finally got back to finishing it last week! Crazy amount of thought and detail went into creating this. Hopefully you'll keep finding new little surprises every time you look at it!

Please do tell what the hanzi (I believe?) tattoos on the girl holding the gun? I would certainly love a translation, this is beautiful. You've successfully pulled the entire atmosphere surrounding steampunk and put it into each aspect of this piece. Here it becomes no longer about the metallic objects and devices laying around and where things are used with a dash of vintage, this is something far more altogether, from the boots to the blimp design and analogue/steam controls in the box that our green friend has her lovely legs on. It's as if you've taken this right from the world of steam you have formulating in your head, just as Lewis Caroll would with a story about Alice.

i always loved your backgrounds. the girls...not as much. The waists are always unnaturally skinny and theres a bad case of same-face syndrome. if you made them bald, i wouldnt be able to tell who's who.
