16 year old Scott stood in the sun porch of his family home. Maintaining his balance on his partial cybernetic legs was a struggle all of its own. His father Mitch stood across the room from him.

"Now Scott, I want you to walk towards me. Take it slow, one step at a time." Scott's father Mitch told him.

"But Dad I can't. Look at me.....I'm a freak." the boy said with tears in his eyes.

Mitch glared at his son. "You are NOT A FREAK. DON'T LET ME HEAR YOU SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!. You are a human being" Mitch paused for a second staring at the half human, half cyborg/robotic being in front of him. ".....alright a human being with augmented parts. But still a human being none the less. AND you are my son. I'm not going to give up on you. Your mother and I taught you to walk once before, and we will do it again." Mitch said to his crying son. "NOW start moving or I'm gonna..."

Scott interrupted his father. "Your gonna what? Come on Dad, You could barely hold me up caring me in here." Scott said with a slight smirk.
"Don't you laugh at me young man. Do you realize how much you weigh not with all that "stuff" on....I may be a mere human to you now, but I'm still your father......NOW START MOVING THOSE LEGS and walk over to me." Mitch said to him somewhat bewildered son.

Scott lifted his left foot off the floor and put it forward then he..............

NOTES: Just a scene I had in my head that shows the struggle of a young man who has been augmented by technology to save his life. The how he got like this is a story for another time. But when I saw this render come up, this is the senario that popped in my head.
Not the best story or dialogue but I wanted to convey a small scene of him trying to be human again.
