Yeah, I drew this because I was like "aw... goten never had goku growing up.." poor Goten.And Gohan's childhood sucked to.
This was mostly inspired by page three of 's comic( [link] ). (go read it >w>) when vegeta says to bulla "In many ways I've become more human than he has." I thought that was so true!
I always thought Vegeta was a better father than Goku (mostly because HE WAS THERE)
And maybe during that time of peace he might've been nice and tryed being fatherly to Goten and Gohan.
I also put Vegeta and Gohan talking because I liked that Vegeta liked Gohan better than he liked Goku. x3
So I wanted to show their friendship.
I didn't realized their expressions 'til know but it looks like Gohan would be talking about his dad and Vegeta's look he like - I don't even know - maybe he feels a little bad for the boys.
I was gonna make 'em at disney land or something
but I hate drawing backgrounds.
so they can be wherever you want them to be.
I'm say they're at a park.
or maybe a town festival.

I always thought he liked Gohan because was a little more serious and more real than Goku. Or at least that's why I like Gohan better than Goku. XD

Well technically Vegeta was the second strongest Saiyan throughout the entire series, since both he and Goku reached SS4 in GT and Gohan never did (unless you read AF).

this is great and i've actually read fanfics that would talk about how goten and gohan looked up to vegtea as a second dad. (even though they don't say) someone even made a fic that had goten call vegeta "dada" for a little bit. (it wasn't chi-chi/vegeta eww)

This is wonderful! The idea of Vegeta trying to act as a father toward Gohan and Trunks is unbelievably cute and heartwarming!
