Well first of all NO IT'S NOT PERFECT, NOR DO I CLAIM IT TO BE PERFECT. I mean lol just look at Sherlock ANYWAYSThis isn't supposed to be a step-by-step tutorial, either--if it was, I would've given way more steps. ;n;
I wanted to share a little shape thing that I found while drawing these characters the times that I have. So if it manages to help anybody out just a bit, that's awesome! If it doesn't help at all, that's cool too! I hope it's at least neat to look at.
It's basically just a first-step piece of knowledge that can really help you get out of that sameface gutter--if you're having that problem, that is. Just look for the overall shape of a face, and then when you construct the face around it, you'll find that it's easier to differentiate it as compared to others. And remember, reference photos are your friends! ><
This was good practice. I've never drawn Mrs. Hudson before, though. I think her and Molly take the cake for being the most difficult to draw.
Happy drawing!
