Magnus
The strongest member of the Grim Company by far and perhaps the strongest human who isn't a blessed hero or incubus, Magnus has been described as having the strength of an entire army or, more accurately, an entire army plus reinforcements and siege weaponry condensed into one man. While Kane may have greater combat skills, Magnus possesses tremendously more strength, speed and endurance.
Magnus's origins are unclear as he just sort of showed up at the Grim Company's base one day and asked to join. When asked about his past, Magnus simply stated that his home simply fell into darkness with no further detail. What is known, however, is how horrendously strong he is, as he once laid siege to an entire city, then faced an entire army sent to save the city and won, and then drove back an expedition force from Lescaite who had come to come to corrupt the city, all in about a week by himself. This, unsurprisingly, terrified most people and the order and monsters began a frantic hunt to try to figure out how he is so powerful, as he has no trace of demon or divine energy, and, in fact, through sheer strength and determination, resisted corruption by Druella and her forces.
Notable traits: ridiculous strength, endurance and will power, uses some form of magic to reinforce his weapons and armour to the point of making them near unbreakable, skill with practically every type of melee weapon.

The Grim Company
Currently, one of the largest and most powerful bands of human mercenaries and bounty hunters around. With a member count of over ten thousand across the continent, these mercenaries will take any job if the pay is right, from killing bandits to besieging cities. If you can pay them, they'll do it. Despite this, they do have rules against unnecessary killing, harming of non-combatants and random destruction. Violation of these rules will lead to the perpetrator being court marshalled and possibly kicked out of the group. While they are not inherently against monsters, they often end up in conflict with them either because they have been hired to do so or the monsters had got in the way of a job. In addition to this, they also have several members who rival or exceed the heroes of the Order in power. Because of this, they have become feared by many, with some lords and generals just surrendering if they know they are coming.
The Grim Company itself was founded two hundred and fifty years ago by a group of adventurers led by the hero Hildebrand Grim and, as they became more famous, many other warriors came wanting to join and so the group grew over the years until it became what it is today.
