Day 1.

Taking a break from this. It started out thusly: I was playing around with colors, and just felt like putting a girl down at the bottom. I mean to make the background look like one of those interesting landscapes in Asia.

I like where it's going. I think I'll devote this one to the 1000 hits celebration I'd been meaning to get around to.

Day 2.

I've added a little more detail to the background, but have mostly been focusing on the girl. I'm thinking to incorporate JaCkinbOx into this (you can see a little bit of him to the left of the girl). I corrected the girl's face -- it was too long on the first day. I really like the adjustment. I've also added a headband to her, and a nose + better mouth. The nose seems a little big right now (I don't draw them too often)... I will make adjustments to the nose as need be. I found a real-life photograph of some girl, and decided to use it as a reference for the nose here.

I'd like to bring in an Art Nouveau style border, later on. I haven't figured out a good look for it yet, though.
