Description
The crew pose for the camera on the front of locomotive No.2, as it comes out of the Glow-worm tunnel, heading towards Newnes. This tunnel (which is now the Glow-worm tunnel of Wollomi) was part of the Newnes Oil & Shale works railway line. The tunnel is approximately 400 metres in Length and almost curve in a 180 degree arch. Strong sandstone tunnel which is so strong that Tunnel lining would not be needed.
