Spirit Dancer is a dedication piece for my friend Pat Conover who rescued me from a drug and gang neighborhood I was living in and took me to live with him and his wife in a really nice house in Silver Spring, Maryland. I lived with them for 9 months until I could get on my feet. Spirit Dancer is a palette knife painting, acrylic on stretched canvas, 16X20 inches and enhanced slightly digitally for saturation, contrast and light.
