This 5x5 grid classifies the classes (and subclasses) of Team Fortress 2 into five distinct categories: Pick, Power, Direct Support, Indirect Support and Anti-Support. Each class is also assigned a primary category and a secondary category. It's based on already existing classification schemes (mostly Venn diagrams, but sometimes grids). Pick, Power and Direct Support (formerly Support) are preexisting categories, while Indirect Support has been separated from Pick and Anti-Support is a newly-crafted category. The grid takes into consideration the base stats, abilities and gameplay behavior of the classes. It was originally conceived roughly half a year ago
