I finally saw Migration today and it was great! It has a great story and an interesting plot, some of the characters are likable, the soundtrack (composed by John Powell) is wonderful, the humor is good, the voice acting is amazing (especially Kumail Nanjiani as Mack, Elizabeth Banks (who played Betty Brant from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and voiced Lucy/Wyldstyle from The Lego Movie 1 and 2) as Pam, Caspar Jennings as Dax, Tresi Gazal as Gwen, Danny DeVito (who played Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin from Batman Returns and voiced Phil from Hercules and the title character from Illumination's The Lorax (2012)) as Uncle Dan, Awkwafina (who voiced Courtney from The Angry Birds Movie 2, Otto from The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon, and Ms. Tarantula from The Bad Guys, and of course, she voices Zhen the corsac fox from the upcoming Kung Fu Panda 4 (which will come out March 8, 2024)) as Chump the pigeon (who is the leader of the New York City pigeon gang), Keegan-Michael Key (who voiced Dave the Dove from The Star, Toad from The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), Ducky from Toy Story 4, Alpha Wolf from Storks, Frank the Foreman (or Foreman Jim) from The Lego Movie, Bjornson the Cheesemonger from Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022), Murray the Mummy from the Hotel Transylvania sequels (2, 3: Summer Vacation, and Transformania), and Wendell from Wendell and Wild) as Delroy the Jamaican-accented Scarlet macaw, Carol Kane as Erin the heron, David Mitchell as GooGoo, the yogic leader of a duck farm, and of course, Isabela Merced as Dax's love interest Kim (I gotta say this, Isabela Merced is way better here than she was in films I hate in my opinion such as Transformers: The Last Knight (where she played Izabella), The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature (where she voiced Mayor Muldoon's bratty daughter Heather), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (Note: If you like Dora and the Lost City of Gold, that's fine, I can handle your thoughts, and more power to you.), and Spirit Untamed (where she voiced Lucky Prescott)), and of course, the designs for the Mallards look cute. My favorite characters in this film are Uncle Dan and Delroy, because they're both such likable and hilarious characters. So yeah. Overall, I think this is now one of my favorite Illumination films along with Despicable Me 1 and 2, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Sing 2. So yeah, I would definitely recommend this and it's worth a watch.
