I like the artwork on the cup, and I am a firm believer in critiques (I think it is the best way to learn) while the shot is great, I think if you could lighten up the contrast, it would bring out the design on the cup even more. I think some of the shadow takes away from it.

I agree with you on the critique part. Unfortunately, it's hard to get a good critique on dA. Most people get put off from the elitists who think they're brilliant, or people use it to be harsh for no reason!
I agree with the contrast thing, but I didn't want to adjust colours or contrast too much, as it's stock and I don't want to ruin it for manipulators who might be looking for a different effect. I just do the most basic touch ups and leave it at that
