Description
Every year, during the first few weeks of spring, sakura (cherry) and ume (plum) trees blossom, covering the Japanese landscape pink and purple. It is a truly wonderful sight, with many Japanese taking pictures and enjoying family outings eating bento (boxed lunches) under these trees. When the petals start to fall off, Japan is littered with pink and purple rain. Again, a magnificent sight.Related content
