Description
I'm there, but I'm not thereIn my social cemetery
Faltering and clutching
Indignant nostalgia
Why doesn't anyone else miss it?
Watching clocks and faces
With secret beliefs of my maturity and insight
Yes, sometimes I love myself
My analytical mind
The older, wiser spirit
Even my body can agree at times
One big identity crisis
Projecting an image on an invisible overhead
The saucy, wise, affectionate girl
Or the caustic sesquipedalian
In my social cemetery
I'm there, but I'm not there
In my social cemetery
One after the other
Deterioration and resentment
Why doesn’t anyone else care?

Nice image of questioning your identity
within the microcosm of school.
I always hated the little subgroups alienating everyone else
and one trying to find ones place where one can say
ya I belong here. But they dont give a spit if you die or not.
nice work.
