Description
Bastet is a Goddess worshipped in ancient times and was revered for warding off disease and evil spirits, as well as protecting fertility and pregnancy. In line with her specialty of protection, she is also known as a fierce warrior in the battle field. In recent times, however, she has mellowed out with the lack of followers and spends her days lounging around in Heaven with her many pets and servants.

Her greatest adversary and arch-enemy is the Devil Prince of Sloth, Belphegor. They clashed many times in the past, although Bastet would never fight him face-to-face as he would send subordinates to fight in his place. That is, until Belphegor spirited away her temple shrine, her favorite napping spot.

She hunted him down with utmost rage. When she found Belphegor, he attempted to slip away through one of his "gaps" through the dream realm. In that moment, Bastet sealed his "gap eye," forever trapping the Devil Prince in the realm of slumber.

As bad as that might sound, Belphegor is still capable of interacting with the outside realm fine and dandy; he just can't step out of his little window gap. It's still pretty inconvenient, though.

Needless to say, Bastet and Belphegor still hate one another, although word has it their conflicts have become more harmless and petty over the years. Their latest dispute involved Belphegor ruining Bastet's favorite real-life soap opera by casting one of the leads into eternal slumber...Design/Conceot for Belphegor by trash-v / Clara-Noire
