Long story short... this is the product of a roleplay between and I involving Dana Mercer giving birth to a baby girl... and said girl growing up with Alex, Dana and various other characters.
I imagined that Alex would be very protective of his niece... and of course she wouldn't be afraid of him due to growing up around his powers.
Really I just saw this image in my head and thought it was touching so I had to draw it :3
