Yay! I finally completed my Metal Gear Solid 2 comic page! I love poking fun at my favorite video games and the MGS series is definitely my biggest fandom.You can see the original idea sketch here and how drastically the final product has improved:

This comic took longer to make than expected because I decided to make it REALLY big! I also had some trouble translating the backgrounds to work in my style.
Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys my comic! Now go and play the MGS series! It's amazing beyond words!
It's weird, in this comic I spoiled the ending of the game without actually spoiling the ending of the game. That doesn't really make much sence, but if you've played the game you probably know that I mean.
I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was trying to summarize one of the most complex video games in the world into only 9 panels...
I drew this with a black Pentel marker and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.

Oh I definitely agree with you there! I'd say that MGS3 was my absolute favorite of the series. Everything about it was just... perfect.
MGS2 though was the first one I ever played, I still like MGS3 more, but I like each part of the series for unique reasons. ^____^

Yeah. From the first time I shanked a croc then got deathrolled cause I had never played the PS2 before, to Ivan and his thunderthong, and yes, everything about it <3
I liked MGS2 alot, but it made me paranoid...I nearly had a heart attack the first time I tripped a c4 laser...

I felt the exact same sense of paranoia after MGS2! I completely agree with everything you've just said on both of the games for that matter. That first C4 on the Tanker scared the hell out of me too...

IKR? Had me carefully looking at every corner for the tripwires. Oh! I forgot! Ray! The epicness that is Metal Gear Ray! That first cutscene where it slices through the boat with its water cannon was just too awesome

I know! I lent him MGS3 Subsistance edition, and his girlfriend kept it <:C But I've still got one and two, be it an incomplete box set now though. Oh I know, I saw the Metal Gear fight on youtube, I wanna play 4 so badly!

Me too. But I don't even got a ps3. My oldest brother does, and he's got MGS4 and was bragging about it when he first got it. I wanted to throw a shoe at his head

Awwww, your brother won't let you play on his console? Well if you ever get a PS3 or get a chance to play MGS4, you'll have to let me know what you think of it.
I hear that they are making a new MGS collection, it's an HD collection for the PS3. Supposedly it includes MGS2, MGS3 and MGS Peace Walker. I'll be buying a copy as soon as I find it and when I find a copy that's a decent price.

I don't rent any more because it's too expensive, so I usually just buy super cheap discounted games. Just the next town over from where I am there's a game store that has a special bin that sells games for like $2 to $7. So I figure at that price, why rent when I could just buy the game? It comes out to be about the the same but with the added bonus that it's MINE forever!

Yeah, that's true. Well, cept when I rent a new game that would cost like, 60 dollars. Nice! At the game stores here, there are bins like that, but the cheapest are like $10. Not bad considering I've seen halo games in the bin

It's rather funny, but I actually have like 3 different versions of MGS3. People get confused always ask why when they look at my tower of video games.
It's because a friend got the game for me the day it came out, then when Subsistence came out, I bought that too. Then when the MGS Essentials Collection came out, I got that simply because I wanted MGS2 for the VR Missions. XD

Nice! That's how I got it kind of. The summer we got brawl I started playing as snake, then I wanted to know more about the game he came from. I got MGS3 in that seperate, regular disk. Then that christmas I got the essentials collection. Later that year, I wanted to buy a different game, so I sold my separate one, thinking one copy was enough xD

Hehehe, yeah the skating game is pretty epic although the controls felt wonky to me... but it's the novelty of being able to skate in MGS that matters!
Would have been great if they had that Tanker room with Ray in it to skate around in. I'd like to do some epic grinds on Ray. XD

Yeah. It made me want to see a tony hawk game with them playable
And totally. It makes me happy seeing snake doing an ollie and raiden grinding the rails.

To be honest, I've always sucked at skating games. Sports games in general I suck at, probably because it's not my thing. But it doesn't help that I'm just not into that sort of thing. I still play it though because it's freakin' MGS!!!
By the way, this is off topic, but you seem really cool and if you'd like to talk on Skype voice chat sometime, that would be totally awesome! My user name there is also Jagarnot.

Yeah, me too. I play the tony hawks with cheats, cause I'm terrible at it. Yeah, I think the only sports game I play is Mario Strikers. But yeah, seeing them on skateboards is just awesome
