Here's an updated digital version of the first piece in the series:See the rest of the Shippuuden series here:
This time the Shippuuden Naruto characters are at the prom and that's why I didn't draw them in their original costumes (it wouldn't have made much sense). I'm sorry I couldn't cram in as many characters in this picture as I did with the last one. But I hope you enjoy it just the same! I drew this using a V5 Precise pen and I colored everything with Prismacolor pencils.
Finally, you can read what each character is thinking below:
Tsunade: "This was the WRONG day to wear green."
Rock Lee: "Apparently hard work does pay off."
Sai: "I like big butts and I cannot lie. You other brothers (who lack penis) can't deny."*
Hinata: "Naruto will have to notice me this time!"
Temari: "Since when were you such a romantic, Shikamaru?"
Shikamaru: "Since I set eyes on you, my love."
Naruto: "Wow, Hinata is really booty-poppin'!"
Gamakichi: "Hey Naruto, when did Hinata become such a fox?"
Gamatatsu: "Almost there..."
Gaara: "Busted..."
Jiraiya: "Simmer down kid, I won't get you in trouble if you give me a shot."
Sakura: "This sucks, why didn't Sasuke ask me to the prom?"
Ino: "Sasuke is such a dark, sultry and mysterious loner. I must have him!"
Sasuke: "Yeah, I'm gellin'."
*this is my joke on the song "Baby Got Back," by Sir Mix-a-Lot (1992).

Hehehe... it's nice to know you enjoyed it. I had a really good time coming up with everything in this picture. Sai and Hinata were the second pairing I thought of when I was working out the concept. The first pairing I thought up was Tsunade and Rock Lee.

Well that's why I had to special order mine, the local art store here didn't carry them until I requested them. That's really the only option I can think of for you unless you also try the Prismacolor website and see if you can get some shipped to your house or something?

What type of Prismas are the best? There are several sub-types:
-Karisma
-Spectracolours
-Premier
-Verithins
-Watercolours (I'm guessing just watercolour pencils xD)
and a few more which I can't remember the name of...

I've only tried out one type of Prismacolors, the ones I use are "Premier" but I'm sure all of them are good. But the ones I have are perfect for my needs. Don't worry about asking me questions on anything, I love helping people out if I can!
I'm happy you like the drawing though! Prismacolors really brighten up any drawing and look so pretty! Every time I go to the local art store I always make sure I buy at least a couple more Prismacolor pencils that I don't have yet.

I started out with a small 12 pack of them just to see if I'd like them (because they are expencive and it'd suck if I bought a mega size and didn't like them). But I'm sure you'll like them, if you like colored pencils then it'd pretty much be impossible to dislike them.

I've never been too big on holidays either, but I do love giving gifts to my friends so that's the only reason I celebrate them. I just love having an excuse to give and receive neat stuff. Sometimes I can't wait for the holidays and give out gifts to my friends at random anyways!

Well I couldn't think of anything else that Gaara would possibly do and I really wanted him in the picture. I had though of using Kiba instead of Gaara, but being a the Gaara fan that I am, the answer was obvious. I knew people would love Shikamaru! I spent some extra time making him look especially charming. I wonder how many people will understand the joke about Sai? Not everyone has read the manga and haven't watched the anime in ages, so I don't know if he's appeared in the anime yet or not.

Well I was sorta thinking of making something totally stupid using most of the male characters in Naruto, a summer beach "hunks-in-trunks" type of theme. Or something silly like that... I don't know.

I actually saw Sir Mix-A-Lot preform that song live with The Presidents of the United States of America. They once made a random performance in my little town back when they merged into a single band called "Subset." The crowd went totally crazy when that song started playing!
