Panel 1
Deep in the Brinestump Marshes, rain pours down on Harsk, Seoni and Kyra as they trudge
through mud and knee high wet foliage (well, knee high to the humans, it’s chest high on the
dwarf). It’s so intense that it’s soaking them all even through their clothes and streaming off
Kyra’s headpiece. All three look miserable, but Harsk is grimly focused ahead.
KYRA
Apparently the Gods hate us this day.
SEONI
The trail’s lost, Harsk. You can’t track through this downpour. We
need cover. Somewhere to wait this out.
HARSK
Don’t tell me what I do and don’t know, sorceress.
Panel 2
Harsk looks at a tree stump that has slashes embedded in its bark.
HARSK
Goblins are dumb as soil. They can’t help but swing their
dogslicers at things as they travel and sing. They leave a trail I
could follow in a monsoon.
Panel 3
Harsk never smiles, but he has a smug stoic look here that’s pretty much as close as he gets.
HARSK
We’ll find ‘em by night fall, ladies.
Panel 4
Kyra and Seoni look at each other. Kyra is expressionless, accepting of the awful weather and
traveling conditions. Seoni manages a half-hearted smile.
Panel 5
Exact same panel as panel 4.
SEONI
He’s good. I’ll give him that.
KYRA
