WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, IT IS FINALLY DONE MY BOIS!
The final design of the big man himself, BAHAMUT- I mean, INFERNATRUX! Yeah, I gave him an original name now.
After two previous designs, I swear, THIS is the final design for my boi.

So anyways, you're probably wondering what the story of this big boi is right now, so lets not waste any time and get right into it!

In the beginning of time, there were the Drakerya, the dragon gods, born as near omnipotent beings. One of the strongest, was known as Infernatrux. Known by all thanks to his titanic wings of cosmic flames, blazing ferociously as he rockets across the galaxies like a raging comet.

For years, the Drakerya only surveyed the many realms, watching, as worlds evolve, change, while others were left devastated by wars, conquered by great evils. After many years of nothing but surveying, Infernatrux had enough. He took action, saving those in need, confronting the many evils who have fallen easily against him. He was hailed as a hero to many across the universe, many even worshiped him, though his fellow dragon god bretheren were not pleased with his reckless actions. Infernatrux however openly criticized them for their ignorance, saying that they should be protecting the many creations of God, as they too are creations of God as well. A handful of Drakerya close to Infernatrux, such as his soon to be wife Xeraphina, all side with him, agreeing that as the guardians of the realms, they should take action.

From there, Infernatrux and his band of friends traveled across the realms, vanquishing many evils and preserving life and order to the many forgotten and otherwise baren parts of the universe. Eventually, after witnessing Infernatrux’s heroic actions across the realms, the remaining Drakerya decide to rally behind the God of Justice and soon crowned him as King of the Drakerya.

After many eons, Infernatrux and the gods, soon reached one realm, Earth, the most primitive and barren of all the realms, after the realm was devastated by a meteorite, but the gods used their draconic energy to breathe life onto Earth once more, humans, dragons and many other sentient beings alike, such as elves, dwarves, orcs, lizardmen, etc. As the other dragon gods scattered across the universe, Infernatrux and his closest friends remained in Earth to aid in rebuilding the realm.

Eons go by, and the medieval times arrive. Infernatrux eventually crossed paths with a brave dragon knight named Adrian Bryne from Aetheria, one of the Nine Kingdoms, who shared the same sense of justice the dragon god holds. The Nine Kingdoms consist of the western countries of Aetheria and Grovania, the eastern countries of Xilan and Ryushin, the northern country of Vjordia, the southern country of Ijaakit, the elven country of Vethlihen, the dwarven country of Brelavia and the orc country of Skorlak, all which are separated into nine major continents across the world. There was strong tension between the kingdoms of Aetheria and Grovania, which eventually led to a long grueling war between the two kingdoms. Eventually, Aetheria asked the help of the kingdoms of Ryushin, Brelavia and Vethlihen, while Grovania allied themselves with Vjordia, Xilan, Ijaakit, Skorlak and the dark elves of Vethlihen.

During the war, Infernatrux grew a close friendship with Adrian, amazed by the dragon knight’s bravery and commitment to justice, and so the dragon god blessed the brave knight with his own draconic power, which would be then passed down his bloodline for generations to come. The two fought side by side as partners for years, with Aetheria now having the aid of the dragon gods to help win the war. In the end though, the mad king of Grovania was slain by the hands of his own son, who suffered from his father’s torturous teachings, before ending his own life, leaving Grovania without a leader.

After all that has been said and done, Adrian and Infernatrux share a moment, where the the dragon god asks why the dragon knight is always so unfazed whenever he puts himself in near death. Adrian explains that throughout his life, he's seen so many people die in so many different ways. He had witnessed people die in battle, whether they were soldiers or not, from diseases, freak accidents, eaten alive by wild creatures, he was even there to witness the death of one of the King of Aetheria's sons, who also happened to be his closest friend. It was after a long brutal battle where Adrian and his squadron took back a fortress that was raided by Grovanian forces, but during the victory party, the prince was poisoned and died right in Adrian's arms. They had survived and won one of the most brutal battles in the war, but he ended up losing his best friend in the time of celebration. In Adrian's eyes, death is completely unpredictable, and knows that one day, death will come to take his life but he'll never know when and how. Maybe he'll die in battle, maybe he'll die of old age, or maybe he'll die in some freak accident when he'll least expect it. But instead of just sitting around and waiting for death to take his life then and there, he'd rather face death head on and make every moment of his life like it'll be his last. Infernatrux understands this, but he ensures that Adrian’s legacy will live on, and the dragon god will make sure of that.

However, as the eight kingdoms pondered what to do with Grovania now that there is no one to rule the kingdom, the earth suddenly rumbles and dark clouds rise where Grovania stands. There, they find the entire kingdom reduced to ashes.
And standing within the very center of the ruined kingdom, is the dragon god named Armagros.

Armagros, who joined Infernatrux's side in preserving order and peace across the universe eons ago, had massacred the entire kingdom of Grovania, after hearing rumors of them planning to retaliate against Aetheria. To make the matter worse, it was revealed by a survivor that the rumor was false, but Armagros felt like he had to take action regardless, not wanting to take any chances. And he wholeheartedly believed he did the right thing to ensure peace is kept, delcaring he will exact vengeance on all who will bring war and death, no matter how small the chances are. He will bring order and peace to the realms, regardless of how many lives he takes. Including his own fellow dragon gods, should they defy him.

Enraged, Infernatrux engages Armagros into a long and devastating battle, which resulted in both dragon gods on the verge of death. Armagros refuses to accept defeat, and tries to finish Infernatrux once and for all, but the other dragon gods of Earth arrive at the nick of time, and bring down Armagros once and for all. With Infernatrux near death, he looks to Adrian and apologizes to him that he wouldn't be there to watch over his family for generations. With that, the dragon gods leave with their wounded king in order to heal him, never to be seen or heard from again.

Time goes by, eventually leading to the present day. Humans, dragons and other fantasy creatures live on together, with the Nine Kingdoms, with the now rebuilt New Grovania, remaining strong. Magic is still evolving to this day and technology has gone through astonishing breakthroughs, both with the help of the draconic energy that flows throughout the Earth.

As for Infernatrux and the other dragon gods that remained on Earth, nothing has been heard from them for years. It is believed they have decided to remain hidden until another cataclysmic event should ever occur, but so far no such event has occurred for centuries. Some even believe that they are hiding within society, watching...and helping those in need under the guise of normal dragons...

That's gotta be the biggest backstory thing I've ever written, probably took half of the whole day for me to type this all up! But yeah, big boi comes with a big story

Plus it pretty much sets up the world of DRAGONSTORM.

I've originally planned for it to be a simple isekai thing where our main boy Drake Bryne is sent to a fantasy world and meets a dragon who ends up being his partner, but after seeing the stories of some games like God Hand and No More Heroes, where they are just absolutely absurd with about everything going on, I decided to ditch the simple, and now thinking about it, generic setup and just embrace the anime style, with a cyberpunk/fantasy style world with dragons, fantasy creatures, gods. Basically just making this whole project of mine as absurd as I possibly can.

So yeah, I've given my boy Infernatrux a revision! I've made his wings even bigger, since his bio described them as "titanic", and I've also included the summoned swords to match his insignia!
