Here is Hot Rod's robot form in all his glory!

For the robot mode, I actually didn't need to sketch out the robot mode as I did for the vehicle mode. I retraced over every panel and part of the vehicle mode, ensuring every part is in the correct size and aligns perfectly for a cohesive transformation.

I've taken elements from the Titans Return Deluxe Class Hot Rod and Cyberverse Deluxe Class Hot Rod, as they are the only figures of Hot Rod I currently own. I also used other references, such as the original G1 Hot Rod toy, with the red, orange and yellow arrows on his biceps and shins.

The only thing about the robot mode I did end up sketching first was the head, since I wanted to try out the art style of the Transformers IDW Windblade miniseries, done by Saren Stone . The irises just adds a bit more expression in my opinion. One original thing I wanted to add was a sort of mohawk, to fit Hot Rod's rebellious bad boy style.
