I am happy to announce I am collaborating with Industria Mechanika to create a scale model of one of my original designs: Chompbot #5. If you don’t know of Industria Mechanika [link] it’s the brain child of an enterprising man named Michael Fichtenmayer aka FichtenFoo [link] an accomplished model maker. The idea behind it is to find designers with a unique vision and pair them with talented and experienced model makers to create original resin model kits.Work just started last week and I’m getting updates from the modelers as they finish things. I’ll keep you posted on the progress of the kit and when it will be for sale. Can’t wait to have this guy sitting on my desk!

Oh, scary! This is quite a success as a work of art. Which is why I am a bit disturbed by it in the same way that I was disturbed by Rodrigo Blaas's 5 minute CGI film "Alma".
