quirk name : Scorpion body! (unknown to her; but she's based off an arizona bark scorpion ahaha)
- quirk description : STILL VERY INEPT ABOUT HER OWN QUIRK -- but she's made progress in her training to help her have better control. Understanding that her body is quite durable thanks to its scorpion mutation (which comes with the biological benefits and natural instincts!) she pushes herself in physical training. Chloe is very new and still coming to a full understanding of exactly what her quirk is --- scientifically scorpions are still being understood themselves but if there's a document out there. She's read it and applied it back to her own "heroic" capabilities. What she's gathered so far is that the mutation gifted her with a more general interpretation of a scorpions natural defenses and attacks. She's still young however, and has much too learn about quirks in general.
- She can poison, she can climb. Her venom deposit isn't too high, and perhaps in the future she'll smarten up about different toxins to move forward with her poison attacks, (her mutation is mainly bases on the Arizona bark scorpion; small but deadly! SHE DOESN'T KNOW THIS YET THO -- to her it's just a big jumble.) Chloe relies on speed and a general acrobatic type fighting style, she is best at close range. With the help of understanding her quirk and how it excels her physical capabilities such as: hey, if that wall is textured she can climb up it! Her most obvious mutation is her tail, and though it packs a venomous punch, it's also her greatest weakness. Tails are sensitive, and she's always in fear of someone chopping it off. Bye, bye *telson. The second easy to hide, are the small plates of "armor" on the front of her forearms which serve best at blocking and deflecting combat attacks.

- She's a very defensive fighter, with "armored" forearms that she uses for blocking in hand to hand combat and general tactics that allow her to subdue and stop her opponent. Focusing more on neutralizing/tiring a target then a full out fight to the death. Her fighting style is very dodgy, and she goes in with the plan to end it quickly, her attacks can be damaging but she's best in at least a duo of heroes.
- Chloe's brand of "healing" is more suited to that of the back door doctor standard, a bad one, in which her venom can numb pain and if the dose is small enough be controlled to one area. She is very new to this tactic however, and in cases this can cause more harm then good. In terms of support, she's best as some sort of decoy. A small annoyance to keep the target busy while a heavier attack is being prepared or objective secured! Supporting the end goal but participating in a more neutral part of the plan.

- close range/stab attack
- A painful sting from her tail! A true last resort type of move with the caution she has to be still for a bit to really dig into it. It opens herself up for attack but is the one move that almost always knocks her foe out (draw backs being the size, sometimes all she can manage is to numb a limb up). Usually saves this for last -- her tail is precious and she's aware of the fact that one of her strongest moves is also a big opening for receiving attacks! Her quirk is seemingly focused around her stinger and she holds herself back with fear of losing it.

- A passive aoe type of buff that she carries with her throughout everyday.Chloe a high sensitivity to vibrations (thanks to those little whiskers on her tail aha), allowing her to detect foes and making her very hard to sneak up on --- unless you're in the air as the sensor is used to detect ground vibrations. Haha, bye Chloe! Attack wise, they add nothing but in defense and fight positioning they go hand in hand with benefits.

- though she wears gloves most of the time, a very small mutation a la scorpion, is on her palms! Removing gloves, shoes and socks is best suited for this little drill and can allow her to climb up flat surfaces. The angel can be ninety degrees and as long as there is slight texture, Chloe should be able to scale it! Gotta roll for that nat20 though. It's not a guarantee but it's proven to work in the past! The mutation grosses her out, making her palms a bit prickly; so she prefers to save it as a last resort and is almost always seen wearing gloves.

- close range/offensive
- A similar but more modified usage of her tail with the combination of a scorpions ability to wall climb; Chloe's kept up with physical training to incorporate it into her quirk for as long as she can remember, hardcore parkour martial arts with her own spin. Since stinging and latching onto a target causes a brief moment of attachments and vulnerability she's taken to a fighting style that allows her to force an opponent into opening themselves up for more than just a sting; some scratches and half stings instead! The venom isn't as potent but it causes discomfort, on top of a barrage of punches and kicks they must dodge her tail! It ultimately weakens the power behind her sting since the venom supply isn't endless and takes quite a bit of energy to recreate. The more she dispenses it in small scratch attacks, the less punch her sting will have. It's a smarter move in some fights but has it's overall qualms.
- quirk drawbacks :
- Scorpions naturally use a lot of energy to produce their venom and this fact isn't wasted on Chloe, in order to keep up to par with it being one of her most useful attacks she keeps on strict high energy diet; if a fight lasts too long or she's forced to use a higher amount of venom then originally calculated she will suffer from dizzy spells thanks to having to produce more venom on the spot, and could even faint. Generally she has a limit, and once its out its out until she gets a moment of peace.
- As cool as wall climbing can be, it's still not up to par with other arachnids. Chloe can find her way around rougher surfaces but glass and smoother surfaces just don't work.
- Her stinger is very sensitive and it has happened before where she's scratched her own legs in the way she goes about moving uncontrollably with the attack! Theres always a drawback of poisoning herself due to amateur ways of preforming the attack.
- the venom dispense in her own body screws with her sight most often. If she produces too much she'll make herself sick; being over prepared isn't worth it!
- strengths :
- speed - she's pretty fast in both literal sense and quick thinking.
- stealing the spotlight! - more in terms of planning a decoy move, helping an advancement on the objective by placing herself center stage. ohhh chloe.
- climbing! - can climb walls/larger foes. Used for an escape or .... in the sense of a giant robot (lol) climb around and look for a weak spot!
- subduing - her main goal is to knock her opponent out by rendering them unconscious or causing brief paralysis with venom
- close combat - she's trained and studied in martial arts along side her school work
- weaknesses :
- EYESIGHT! - her accuracy is hella off, even up close it's easy to dodge her, and eighty percent of the time she'll miss you altogether (She's extremely near sighted!).
- bright lights/flashes - causes momentary confusion and off puts her light balance! She already has horrible eyesight...this just adds to it.
- long distance - her entire move set is catered to a very in your face type of fight; if she can't get close to you; or your faster she can't sting ya!
- water attacks/being submerged - she'll drown lol
- fire quirks, getting so close and risking being set on fire? Oh please
- armored opponents/armor in general -- she relies so much on being able to inject venom that when an opponent is literally tough skinned or armored the battle can go down hill, very fast!

- An opportunist by heart, Chloe's quick to jump on situations she think may help push her quirk further into development, living life with a very optimistic output. Small mundane tasks that may seem boring can surely be spun into something of a learning experience, right? She tries to convince herself that everything she's doing, she's doing for a bigger and better reason. Everything handed to her can be taken and turned into something more valuable, and no matter what it is she will take it and make sure to achieve the ultimate end goal! Even if it's just .... delivering a letter.... she'll do it faster then she did before! She's always looking to improve. As an ambitious child, the strong desire to be the best of herself has never wavered -- she's willing to go above and beyond, especially when it comes to her quirk.
- Chloe's always willing to take that extra step and be brave about new things; while in general still believing she herself is the creepiest crawler around! A comfort she falls back to when faced with uncertainty, and by default the girl is willing to push fear aside always. Always taking the world head on, letting fear control her has never been an option. Chloe sees fear as nothing more than a minor drawback; she doesn't ignore it completely but instead tries to turn it around into a strength. Which is forever a high root of her curiosity. Understanding people's fears is always a plus in fights as well. With no malicious intentions she's always interested to hear about others' secrets and favorite things. Curiosity drives a lot of what she does and motivates her to learn, she wants to understand everything she can about this world of heroes in order to be the best of course.
- Though her social skills are a bit awkward due to her sense of humor and she still suffers from small language barriers, Chloe is quite the conversationalist. She loves to hear herself talk, and minus the draw backs understands how to entertain a person with nothing but fancy words. (It's harder to defend herself in the academy; but she's learning!)

- Peculiar with her taste in humor, and general focus on the more "creepy" side of life, some of Chloe's actions are a bit uncanny whether it be her explaining in great detail how and why a spider's venom can turn your insides to mush -- or just a very odd string of jokes. Now, Chloe's not trying to be that one edgy teen holding out her hand and welcoming you to her twisted mind. No, it's nothing like that. She's always been attracted to the "other" side of things though -- a huge sucker for the paranormal and big believer in haunted houses. She's blunt about her opinions in it, and in compliments and insults. She won't tip toe around telling you her honest opinion or complaint. Should someone fall into her friend group she can become extremely clingy as well. Always offering to bring treats, suggesting hang outs and curious to what everyone's been up to! Always a compulsive and overwhelming need to remind someone that hey! She's here too! Don't forget about Chloe! It can be overbearing, and she means well but it can get very old very fast.

- Chloe is cursed with a very vengeful persona, she's hostile and will hold grudges if she's wronged taking her own pettiness to an all time extreme. Irritated easily by small things especially when they have a negative affect towards her person, she's quick to plot out a little prank in order to keep the poor soul who "wronged" her in line. But also has developed a tendency to cling onto them and boss them around to bid her chores. On paper, Chloe's whole tone is bossy by default -- she expects things that she asks to be done. To be done. Whether it was a gift from her mother spoiling her to no end or just a general trait picked up by her high and conceited opinion of herself, Chloe doesn't take well when she's called out for this behavior. In her eyes, she's a leader and she deserves to make calls.
- Chloe can become so obsessed and overwhelmed with achieving whatever goal she sets out for herself, she will push others aside to full fill this one compulsive desire --- which in some cases isn't always such a bad thing. She's extremely ambitious in her studies, life, work ethics and assignments that when push comes to shove even though it may be completely overbearing at the end of the day she'll do whatever it takes to finish and achieve victory over this one goal. Of course, going hand in hand with her being so obsessed with achieving this sudden spark or challenge, it can be extremely irritating to deal with her once she locks onto an end goal. She's not a team player. A big thorn in her side especially since her quirk works so well in pair set ups. She's wants to be in the spotlight, she wants everyone to look at her, see how well she's doing, her own hubris and drive to be the best always ringing so loudly in her ears! Chloe's selfish in which she cares more about how much she can advance towards being the best, her classmates being nothing but tools to help her achieve it in her eyes.
- likes :
- arthropods. she monch. (crickets are her favorite though; esp the salt & vinegar sort) - a gross running joke, but in reality they've got great protein.
- fashion - enjoys summery looks the most, and finds a comfort in it all since her mother owns her own boutique. Feels like she owes it to her to keep her fashion eye sharp.
- coffee, high caffeinated beverages & energy drinks. She's at her best during the night but for the sake of fitting into a more normal lifestyle has forced her body clock from the instinctively nocturnal to being awake during the day. lol
- noisy people; she thinks it's funny and enjoys to listen to the tomfoolery.
- frogs - her favorite little animal! Thinks they're adorable....and secretly up to no good!
- baking! - cake specifically since it's her favorite treat, she likes to try her hand at fancy decorations as well. (lemon is the best flavor!)
- dislikes :
- all talk no bite sort of people -- don't come at her with empty promise, or threats even! It's the most annoying thing in her eyes...throw the punch!
- people touching her hair - "Listen, I know it's gorgeous but that doesn't give you an open invitation to rub your greasy hands all over my head!"
- being left out of the loop or have secrets kept from her is the easiest and fastest way to annoy Chloe!
- having a strict schedule or plan to follow - in her eyes the only one allowed to do this to her, is herself. Doesn't take well to following orders when they're delivered in a bossy manner towards her!
- cold weather is HORRIBLE. -- Chloe hates layers and though winter fashion is cute, wearing winter fashion is a big pain in the butt in her eyes!
- badly penciled in eyebrows. she doesn't mean to stare but why'd you leave your house like that. yeah they're sisters not twins, but these two aren't even related!

TLDR;;
Raised by a quirkless mother, who filled her head with false stories about how great of a hero her father "was" Chloe was set off on the path of being just as great as him one day from a very young age. Born with such an obvious mutation shaped her entire life; she knew she was different and she could never hide that from anyone else. Not that she ever wanted to. After all, a quirk allowed her to put herself on a pedestal from a very young age. Automatically, she thought she was better than those who were quirkless. Though Dolce, her mother, never pushed her towards developing her quirk into anything more than a physical difference she never denied Chloe the chance to discover more about it either. Always taking a neutral stance on what being a hero truly meant. Coming in contact with other kids that had been born with quirks, Chloe dove into studying her own; she understood it had to do with scorpions and grabbed onto that lead.
After an accident on the playground that left one boy unconscious after he gave her a poor "hero name" and Chloe in detention for a week, Dolce realized what her daughter was born with was no harmless little pinch. Contacting who she knew of that was gifted with these quirks Dolce's search pointed her towards an academy specifically specializing in turning kids into heroes. She showed her daughter the pamphlet, allowed her a choice but unsurprisingly; Chloe already knew about the famous academy. It was number one in heroics after all, how could she not! But the reminder from her mother was needed, this was something Chloe had had stars in her eyes about since she had stumbled apon it in her research about great heroes and where they had come from. It became an ultimate goal for Chloe, no more playground fights, no more of the nonsense she had been trying to pull for attention. It would take a bit; the academy was in another country, she had to take up language lessons and focus on school but she knew it'd be worth it. This was the best of the best after all! and with her mother's blessing it consumed her entire life all over again.
Chloe poured all her studies into her schoolwork; obsessed with the idea of this academy. Only this one. Only Yuuei. She wouldn't settle for anything else, she had to become a great hero like her father! Being a big star would put her face everywhere, maybe the sight of her would bring him back after all, amazed by her glory! She would be a hero with her dad after they were reunited! Finding Yuuei again sparked that new fire in her; her dream became a reality as exams drew nearer. When the time for entrance exams rolled around, she was more than ready! She needed that glory...the fame. It truly put a test on her idea of teamwork; instilling the idea and realization that in order to achieve her goal she'd have to let people in. She'd have to ask for help. Chloe was able to skip around her original ideas of being a one woman army, her ambitions couldn't be tied down by her own selfish desires, and in this case realized her greatest enemy to her end goals was herself. Chloe understood and was more than willing to do whatever it is to better herself to fit the mold of a hero, as hard as it will be to unlearn some nasty habits...

- Chloe wants nothing more than to become more than just that bug girl. She wants to leave the academy a star! A hero! Someone with a big enough name that she's famous and well known -- more so to try and find her father than anything else. After all, he'd have to recognize her, right? She hopes!
- Oh a more professional level; she wants to push her quirk to its full capability, come to a better understanding of what she can and can't do with it. On her own standards; she's studied her little heart out and believe she's got that under control. Just has to convince everyone else that being a scorpion kid is one of the coolest things! Chloe is aware of her needing to understand teamwork and working with others in order to achieve a goal which she believe the academy will also help her immensely with; but drowning out her own hubris is going to be a stormy ride.
