They say this old country near Germany was cursed many centuries ago. But the wizard, in revenge, did not want the people to have a vicious, lasting reputation. He wanted them to become something harmless, perhaps nothing more than a curiosity, so that they won't soon be completely forgotten. And so he chose the Wolpertinger - a creature that is the European version of the Jackalope, and just as silly. This is why they tell you not to drink the water when visiting other countries. This is why they tell you not to drink the water when visiting other countries.This setup could go one higher in New Zealand: Some of the touristy nature spots have public drinking fountains that brag it's all supplied by rainwater, which sounds great... until you realize they rely on the dirt for filtration.
