i really like this photo, not just because yeah its a good shot *conceited strut* but i really love the wrinkles in her face.. sorta like a road map

There is nothing I respect more than the photographer who is able to capture an expression...you have done that incredibly well here. The fact the her expression is spontaneous and lacks that 'perfect' model quality (think Maybeline ads) makes this so unique; in it's imperfection it is perfect, and that is why I love it.

why thank you, and although while she is beautiful, i think i tend to have to agree with you.. i love this shot for its imperfections.. and u know... when i take photos of people (portraights) i try to talk to them, to just get them asthey are talking, there are so many expressions we miss day to day in a single moment. Its sorta of to say.. little bits of humanity.

(Oh, note that I do not, in any way, think that I am a photo-guru. I just state what I like, what I dislike and why I like/dislike. Also I say what I would do to make it better. I do not mean that I am the god of all photos. Just so you know)
the pluses:
+ The expression (obviously)
+ The all black background (care to tell me how you did it?)
+ The title+description, I didn't understand the title 'till I read the description
+ Also the composition is good. It is a good thing that you did not put her in the middle. never put her in the middle !! 
.
And now the minuses:
- Even though the expression is the thing to go for, she kinda looks ironic or even sarcastic. Not totally happy. This could be a great feature, but since this picture is about happiness, it doesn't really fit. You see what I mean?
- I would like a bit better focus. Perhaps throw on an Unsharp Mask filter to sharpen her a bit, because I noticed that the focus isn't hundred % spot on.
- I would also like a bit of depth-focus, almost macro like. With a very shallow field of focus. I think it would look great if her hair was out of focus, and only her face was in focus.
You could try this in PS: mask (or just mark using the lasso) her face and apply the unsharp mask filter so it only affects her face, that way the hair will still have the focus it has got now, but the face will look better. (perhaps. And do not in any way feel forced to do this, since it is still just personal preferrations. Always remember this. Never alter an image just because someone else asks you to (unless it is for a client of course

Excellent quality on this one! It's carefully inside the focus area, and you've captured emotion really well. I myself find it extremely difficult to get good pictures of emotions. You've done well on this one.
