Description Do NOT REPOST

Basil and Kitty found James alive and were relieved. For they had originally returned to his lair to give him a burial. However it was revealed he survived and bandaged himself. They explained to him why they came back but now they had a new task, to bring him to the surface with them.

Phantom: No.. this is where I belong.

Miss kitty: No it’s not.. you have lived with a lie for far too long. It’s time to realize the truth.

Basil: That’s right, you sir have grown up believing you were disfigured when you were not. Perhaps as a child you were ugly or mice were just being cruel.. point is your just as normal as the rest of us.

Miss kitty: I can’t return the feelings you have for me… but has nothing to do with your looks. You brought me to your Opera, became a friend and teacher to me. Made me a better singer then I could have ever dreamt.. but those are my feelings, your my friend. Later you saved me from the fire for all this I want to help you now. Come up with us.

Basil: There’s no reason to stay here anymore, let the Phantom die and let James live.

He considered things in silence then hesitantly he removed his mask.

James: You mean it.. I’m not a monster.

Basil: You never were. Lady Miranda, explained everything to me about where you came from. She even tried to convince you herself but you were too consumed by a lie.

Miss kitty: Will you come with us? Join the world you belong to?

After another moment or two of thinking, he decided to trust them. So they led the way, a way to a new life. A life without shame. The truth of him being the phantom would stay between the three of them and James would once again run the Mouse Opera but this time in the light.
