In theory, his healing factor SHOULD keep him physically 20-25 forever, except the telomere reset is much slower than direct regeneration and slows further down the more injuries it has to divert energy for to deal with. Between reversing what would be fatal injuries on an almost daily basis, and his implants leaching heavy metals into his blood that have to be constantly scrubbed, time finally caught up to him, however old he really is.
If he could get sophisticated chelation boosting nanobots that could work with his healing factor AND take a 20 year rest from major injury, he could grow young again. Since he’s the Avatar of War, however, that latter is never going to happen. Apocalypse misnamed him during his brief enslavement to him. For all the death he causes, it’s incidental to his primary nature as a permanent warrior.
The nanotechnology is a definite possibility, but it would simply keep him from growing any older. If he could get at least a six month break here and there, it might eventually shave off a few years so he’d be in less pain. But even that is too damn hopeful. 😔

Heh, remember doin this in my battlin past. Don't smoke nor drink no more cause now I got a reputation ta show to young fans I got responsibilities. Ever since too, I feel more energetic and active. Gotta say bub, them days were fun, but now it's time to see life at it's fullest, being more layed back perspective. Some say I've gone soft, but ya know what bub? I don't care what anyone thinks anyway~
