For this week's personal project, I bring you a collaboration between and myself.

This piece wasn't meant to be part of my projects, but as the week was getting busier in terms of work, and life was also getting quite hectic too, I decided to put my other piece to the side and focus my attention on this one.

I was quite befuddled at first, kinda lost in how to approach the colouring and the shading. I did have plenty of refs and the linework was clear enough that I wasn't lost, but something in me kept freezing me every time I looked at the picture. I think it had something to do with my own self-esteem, which took a vacation to leave me alone to my own devices. I guess it was only time before steam ran out of this initial idea, but to be frank I'm surprised I've gotten this far. I'm about to hit the middle point of this project, and things are so far going swimmingly, with pictures completed at a relatively alright pace.

My favourite part of doing this piece was the shading, to the surprise of absolutely no one. It was fun to do all those sparks, and the harsh lights and shadows.
