Description
This week's project is, another "Night in the Woods" picture? I didn't know I liked that game so much.
A while ago, back in October last year, I did a picture of The Pale Cat wearing the Harrowed Set from Bloodborne. I did it for Inktober, didn't look super good, but it was a spur of the moment sort of thing. I always felt I could do a better job with it, so I went ahead and made it into a project. The end result is what you see here.
I used this picture to learn a new method to improve the end result of my drawings, and that is colour matching. I've never done that in a picture before, and after this one I think I might be using it more often in the future. It's a good way to combine character and background in a more seamless manner. It felt a little bit like cheating, but the end result kind of speaks for itself. I'm stupid happy about how those blues turned out.
That being said, I'm going to make the next project something original, not fanart, and definitely not having blue and magenta in it either. I don't know about you but even I am getting tired of this much juxtaposition.
