Well sweetie ain't that the pickle because I'm an old Intel die hard as well but I am fond of the AMD so far no problems with it and the new AMD 64 X2 is just fantastic CPU and just as good as Intel's Pentium D and that will be my next purchase now that I got Jan's computer going good but she was mad at me because I did not spend the money on the AMD 64 X2 but I told her it works out better this way and I can wait to get the other later on I just need the RAM!!!!

I always swore by Intel and hubby went and bought me an AMD after my other one was out dated. I hated that computer. My new one he built me is an Intel4 with 512 DDRRam and I love it.

Yes I love my Intel as well but Sweetie you gots to get more ram in that puppy my min want right now is 2GB's but like you I'm at only 512 with this new computer.

Hubby plans on it. It has dual channels whatever that means. It really kicks butt.

Dual CPU's ?? If thats what he means then Yes that will and would be so awesome and you would have no more rendering headaches
I have a dual CPU here but it is a 486 that I have not used for some time but it sure has a lot of power.

Yeas Dual CPU's. I believe mine is a 3gig. All I know is he built me the best you can get right now and it does kick butt compared to what I did have.

Yes well that sure will do the job A dual CPU 3GHz. CPU is what I dream of these days Jan is sitting here saying take the other computer back and get yours but I can wait my time

You may end up rendering twice because it will be pretty fast And your renders should be the Invy of all here

It is fast in Poser but not Vue if I put it on the highest setting there. Which really rots, because I use that program more then any other..

Yes vue can give you some excellent renderings just like a photograph so it will eat up most conventional machines
