I didn't make a feminist statement. I made a observation and a statement over the thing I observed which was a feminist statement. And it's silly to me because it's a joke and both men and women are equally as capable of the same behavior.

What makes it even more silly is that whenever it's about women, it's suddenly a more sensitive topic.

I might also add that: I know bad people exist. But this animation does not make an statement to a whole group of any gender. It points out bad people and how silly it is, in a very funny way.

It's far from cleared up.

You know why it's an issue? The whole gender crap and these "stereotypes", they exist because people pretend that they are true. People believe in lies because they are insecure. It doesn't make it a fact. So just because the girl in the animation was a douchebag, doesn't make it an "attack" or anything against any gender what so ever.

This is a joke. Men and women are equally capable of doing the same things. Showing one doing something isn't a "stereotypical statement".

And what do you mean with "cleared up"? James said he didn't intend it to be some kind of statement and you excused the "harshness" and said it gave you a "wtf" moment. Wikid's comment chain only had you saying you enjoyed the animation, that it wasn't the problem. So according to the posts, there is nothing saying you cleared anything up about the "stereotypical" part. You didn't excuse anything, you just listened to what they had to say and mildly said the same thing that you said in the beginning.

It annoys me, and I tell people because this crap shouldn't exist. But it does, because people think it does. I also bring this up whenever somebody posts about it, because it's like criticism. Unfair criticism.

If James blocks me from commenting, fine. I'd rather be blocked and had said something to put things right than shut up and let people comment like that.

I should make it clear that it was not my intent in any way for this video to make a statement on the female or male gender in general. It's just one situation where people are treating each other badly (for comical sake) and not really meant to be taken as a statement on gender.

I'm a woman and I don't find that offensive in the slightest, BECAUSE of the fact that women in general do use their appeal of some sort to get what they want. Maybe not as cruel as that little bitch in the short, but still, we find someway to get what we want because of our gender. Men do it all the time, so why is it such a federal case once a woman uses what's natural to them? In all honesty, the only thing that should be seen as stereotypical is the bad boy, who has some standard and, knowing he can treat her like shit, still goes out of her way to try to meet that standard to be with him by using someone else. The stereotype isn't the woman being cruel, it's the woman being desperate and blind. I mean, how often is it that women go for the bad boy type, knowing that they'll get treated badly, and STILL go back, leaving nice guys like the blue guy here in the dust, or worse, using them as stepping stone to get to said bad boy. And yet, despite pointing out these things, I'm not offended. In fact, the fact that he did this should make it more obvious to women to cut this shit out. If it's a stereotype then 9 times outa 10, it's based on a whole lot of truth.

Setting aside my psuedo-soap box moment, once again Mr. Lee, awesome animation, GREAT surprise ending.
