legendary, he looks a bit like a south-european troll, the horns and the curly hair reminds me very much of the Greech mythology satyrs and cyclops

That's a magnificently scary fellow. He fits right into that icy inhospitable landscape. One can imagine some poor fellows out, desperately hunting for food during a lean winter, getting caught in a blizzard...... and this beastie looms raging out of the snow! Ouch!
