Bio: Costanzo Townsend joined the Citiesville police force in his early days as a beat cop where he was partnered with many different officers. After working as a uniformed officer, Townsend was promoted to detective and a respected one at that where skills managed to solve multiple crimes throughout the city. As a detective, Costanzo is known for getting results and makes no apologies for his approach to his work. He often gets into conflicts with Oliver Oldfield as the entire police force needs to investigate crimes caused by any villain of DOOMFORCE and find the true identities of every Titan of Justice to which his superior objects as the force needs the aid of superheroes to defeat super-villains. In spite of his gruff exterior, Townsend does have a softer side, though he rarely shows it. For example, he was sympathetic to Oldfield's grief when Super Cat was thought to have been defeated and destroyed. He eventually found a partner in the slightly more mild-mannered Inspector Lopez with whom he had frequently worked when she was still in the uniformed division. Even though he’s a valued detective to his department, he’s also been a great asset to the Titans of Justice which he truly appreciates.
