this takes place during the first season of Beyblade as Kai at this point had betrayed the heroes and sided with the villains and now has Black Dranzer. at this point, Charlie often had an ill feeling looking at the black colored copy of the real Dranzer and upon seeing it's performance and absorption of the other bit beasts is only when Charlie finally freaks out.
