i think he uses charcol i have some my self porbly the blending tool and different toned pencils witch i also have :3

Erm different ways, i normally just leave the area white, but you could try using a putty rubber, it takes more graphite away than a normal rubber or you could try a white pen.

I dunno really, whatever's around you. I always say that its not the school that's good, its the students in it. Someone can only teach you so much, the rest you learn for yourself. So it doesnt really matter where you go
