Description
Wasn't sure about category on this one, but I'll probably scrap it at some point anyway. Sorry for the kinda crappy photo... I used my phone.Anyway, this is my sukumizu loli hero from the DS game Drawn to Life! I named her Akami.
For those who don't know of the game, it's a cute platformer that allows you to draw your own character to use as the hero in your game. You also get to draw all kinds of other stuff in the game which makes it incredibly fun and customizable! For example, she has a "snow gun" which I made into a stuffed bear that shoots snow from its mouth.
It was interesting and a bit tough to figure out how to best draw it within the template, still make it cute the way I wanted, and still look good in the animated sprite form! In that way, it's not perfect the way I originally wanted it, but it's the best I could make it without making the sprite animation look like it had broken limbs.
I ramble too much in my descriptions. D: Sorry guys!
Anyway, enjoy, and play Drawn to Life!!

I spent quite a while on it. XD Not sure how long though, I wasn't paying attention to the time.
The scariest thing was in the beginning of the game, I spent a while making all the little things it asks you to draw, and then you enter the world and a character basically asks you "Will you help us? ;-;" and you get a choice of yes/no... obviously you have to say yes in these situations so I always pick "no" just to see what happens before they make you pick "yes".
Well, I said no and what happened? They basically went "oh.. I guess it's all over.." and it went back to the title screen XD;; I was so sad, I thought it made me lose all the work I did on it. Fortunately, it's just a trick, and it autosaved it so when I went back in they were still there XD
Anyway, thanks!

Hee hee. x3 I'm glad you didn't lose the work!
That reminds me of when I was playing Paper Mario (I think it was probably PM2: Thousand Year Door or something like that). At the end, they ask if you want to join the evil guys. I go, "Hell yeah!" and then I got a game over. T^T;;

Hahah, that's awesome and horrible at the same time. XD I love when games do crap like that. I always wanted to make a game that was full of things like that, and hidden easter eggs everywhere and stuff. XD

Does the game have the ability to transmit characters? I mean that would be pretty cool...no way I would play it unless I could have a cool character or something..

What do you mean by transmit characters? I think you can trade them with your friends, if that's what you mean.
Also, looks like you can have up to 3 "heroes" saved in your game at a time, plus all the other fun stuff you draw.

Yeah, trade. So I could get someone else to draw me one.

Ahh :3 you should be able to then!
There's also some default parts you can use to make a character with if you don't want to draw.

I've wanted to try the game, but I'd have stick figures running around... XD That would be the best I could do.

Do it anyway! I thought it'd be too big a pain to draw with the DS to be any good, but it surprised me.
Plus, it's adorable and fun, and I think part of the fun of it is seeing how silly your own creations look sometimes XD
