I think this is a good image, nice idea, great concept. One thing I think might make it work better would be to place the person more to the right side of the image, but then it might be just me.

i feel its useless because the person looking at it is alone, which in my opinion ruins a good sunset, and makes it useless if it's not viewed with the right person

I see what you mean by useless sunset, contrasted against the city it has lost all of its beauty, quite sad really.
